Monitoring digital analytics metrics, reporting on trends and identifying opportunities.Analysis of digital data, building an in depth understanding of the customer and user behaviours.Evaluating campaign, onsite and a/b test performance – conversion, funnel analysis, user journey etc.Support channel managers (e.g. Web, SEO, PPC etc) in understanding channel performance and help drive strategiesEnsure accuracy and efficient data collection across multiple brands, managing tagging and tracking across multiple brand websites, managing cookie consent and staying up to date with privacy regulations.
Skills & Experience:

The data team is expanding and offering an incredible opportunity for an experienced Digital Analyst to take ownership of the Digital data. As the Digital Analyst, you will sit in the centralised analytics function and support the marketing team. In addition to this, the role is critical in the Growth squad, where you will be working on longer-term projects to drive the business growth strategy.
They are looking for someone who is super proactive and can grab hold of analysis and insight and turn it into actionable initiatives.
What will you be doing?
Own the digital data and analysis across the business, being the GA4 expert
Supporting channel owners, providing analysis and insight to support growth.
Building dashboards and delivering reporting to support informed decision-making across the business.
Understand the digital customer journey – identifying areas of improvement and opportunity. Making recommendations and feeding into the testing roadmap and strategy.
Championing an experimental and testing culture, supporting the conversion rate optimisation efforts.

About you.

Forward Role are working with a well-established, forward thinking retail business. The business are data driven, utilising insights to shape strategy and drive decision making. They are looking for a passionate Customer Analyst to identify data from a variety of sources, create insightful reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
The idea candidate will love digging deep in to complex data, and translating large data sets in to actionable insights – telling a compelling story and working collaboratively with stakeholders to embed this insight, and enhance understanding of the customer.
You will be working within a high-performing Data Analytics team, including Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
Role & responsibilities:
Leading on a variety of BAU analysis and in-depth project work across customer, marketing and CRM, including customer loyalty.
Supporting the CRM and Loyalty team with high-priority Membership and Loyalty projects – understanding customer acquisition, retention and shopper frequency metrics. Along campaign analysis, evaluating performance and making recommendations for changes/future capiagns.
Drive decision making and strategy through analysis and insight, evaluate and quantify impact of changes to support prioritising future projects
Working in collaboration with stakeholders, understanding their challenges and business questions, and understanding how to translate this into commercial analysis
Skills & Experience:
Experience in a Data Analytics role, with a commercial and insight focus – ideally exposure to marketing and customer data
Strong experience with SQL is essential, very confident in writing accurate code, and reviewing junior team members code
Experience with visulisation tools such as Power BI, or similar
Working with large data sets and generating insightful analysis
Working in a fast paced environment with deadlines
Working with stakeholders to drive change through insights
