The role of the Performance Marketing Director:
- Lead a team of 6 across all performance marketing channels to generate customer acquisition and online growth.
- Create the Digital Media strategy to accelerate the channel and drive growth, focused on key objectives to drive new customer aquisiton and repeat purchases, as well as app downloads, and optimisation of customer data.
- Manage agencies, across all key channels including Search (PPC and SEO), Affiliate Marketing, Display, Social and Video.
- Spearhead new partnerships and collaborations as well as new digital marketing opportunities.
- Use data and insights from multiple sources to inform customer acquisition strategies, going beyond standard reporting to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop strategies that deliver not only short-term ROI but also long-term lifetime value (LTV) for the business.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and key stakeholders across marketing, commercial finance, and data teams to ensure alignment on objectives and ensure the necessary resources are provided to achieve growth.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership and peers to ensure cross-functional teams understand their roles in driving customer and online growth.
The successful Performance Marketing Director will need to demonstrate
- Experience in paid media buying as well as execution of digital marketing strategies in a D2C brand
- Experience in partnerships and or affiliates would be advantageous.
- A track record of growing performance marketing channels with experience with all the major social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
- Strong analytical skills: experience in Google Analytics preferred.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative to work independently on assignments of moderate score and complexity.
- Excellent people leadership
- Excellent relationship building skills and an effective team player.
