As the Head of Data, Analytics & Insight, you’ll lead the ambitious data team, taking data capabilities within the business to the next level. The Head of Data, Analytics & Insight will be leading talented analysts and data engineers to deliver cutting-edge insights and strategies that drive the business forward. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll combine technical expertise with strategic vision to shape and implement our data strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of analysts and data engineers to deliver high-quality analytics and insights.
- Get your hands dirty, deep dives into data using SQL, uncovering actionable insights that support decision-making.
- Identifying insights and trends from GA4 and other digital data sources to understand customer behaviours, drive and optimise digital and marketing performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Ensure accurate data collection, implementing and maintaining tagging with GTM.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver insights, and influence decision-making.
- Manage BI development,building intuitive dashboards and reports in Power BI, utilising DAX providing clear, impactful visuals and metrics.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously refining analytics processes and tools.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a data analytics & insight leadership role
- Experience providing analytics and insight to drive business decisions – SQL with cloud platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake etc.
- Understanding of key BI principles – building and automating reports and dashboards in Power BI (or similar)
- Previous involvement working with digital data – experience with GA4
- A good understanding of tagging withhands on experience with GTM
- Strong skills in Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
- A knack for translating complex data into easy-to-understand insights.
- A strategic mindset paired with the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
