We’re on the lookout for a talented Assistant Photographer to become a key player in our growing creative team. Working alongside our Lead Photographer, you’ll play an essential role in producing high-quality, consistent imagery that brings our brand to life.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a studio setting, has a strong technical background, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of our ecommerce and product photography, while also supporting high-profile campaign shoots. What You’ll Be Doing as the Assistant Photographer:
- Shooting high-quality product and on-model photography that aligns with our brand’s aesthetic.
- Supporting the Lead Photographer on campaign shoots, ensuring all technical and creative aspects run smoothly.
- Overseeing ecommerce casting and shoot planning to ensure our shoots feature the right talent.
- Setting up lighting and backdrops to create the perfect shot every time.
- Assisting in the selection and editing of ecommerce imagery, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Implementing and improving studio workflows, maintaining a seamless creative process.
- Managing and maintaining all camera and technical equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition.
- Using Adobe software for post-production editing and retouching.
The Skills and Experience of the Assistant Photographer:
- A degree in photography or proven industry experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced studio environment – studio experience is a must!
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting, camera settings, and studio setups.
- Experience in apparel photography is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of retouching workflows and experience briefing retouchers.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attentiveness to detail, ensuring every shot is polished and on-brand.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
