Forward Role are working with a thriving and dynamic ecommerce business in Worsley who are expending the team and looking for a Retail Data Analyst. The role is the perfect next step for a candidate looking to enhance their analytics skills across multiple business areas, various analytical tools and techniques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Understand stakeholder requirements, gather, and manipulate data from various sources across the business, build user friendly reports and dashboards, whilst championing the use of the data to drive business decisions.
- Manage ad-hoc data requests across multiple departments, such as ecommerce, merchandising, warehouse, buying and finance.
- Play a key role in the delivery of larger analytical projects, as well as supporting the wider data team in enhancing data flows, reporting systems, and data integrity.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with SQL in a Data Analyst role is essential
- Advanced Excel skills, with Power Query & Pivot
- Excellent understanding of debugging and troubleshooting in data and reporting
- Ability to work with multiple data sources, unearthing insights and telling a story
- Experience with GA4, Python, and/or cloud-based technologies are of interest, but not essential
- Knowledge of tools such as Sage 200, Linnworks or Peoplevox are of interest, but not essential
