As part of a rapid-growth subscription business you’ll report directly to the CEO and will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be bold in their approach, constantly testing, developing and innovating the sales funnel to ensure we are delivering the correct messaging to drive leads for our sales team. You will need to adapt to customer needs, be flexible when creating and amending strategies to reach a broad spectrum of clients and will be responsible for managing and mentoring three Marketing Executives.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the marketing department including:
- Product Marketing
- Demand generation
- Content
- Communication and brand awareness (product brand, company brand and exec personal brands, PR, social media and thought-leadership)
- Reporting and analytics
- Be responsible for the go-to-market strategy (brand, value proposition, product positioning, pricing, channels and promotion) that enables the growth of our ARR.
- Be responsible for Pipeline Generation (Deals and 50% of new business pipeline)
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales on revenue operations (reporting on commercials to the CEO and COO to support board reporting, performance analysis, trends and learnings, commercial forecast and team targets)
- Create, manage and optimise sales & marketing alignment and build a tight-knit progressive culture within the GTM team (marketing and sales)
- Optimise sales enablement function which includes product content, support materials and marketing sequences with campaign topics to help improve outreach conversions and efficiency
- Report and review marketing performance across functions and optimise the efficiency and productivity of the department.
- Lead and develop the marketing team into specialised and growth-focused functions while enabling the career development of marketing team members.
Essential skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in SaaS marketing leadership and start-up experience is desired.
- A key focus on driving high-intent pipeline into the business using multiple channels.
- Strong background in SaaS product marketing and demand generation.
- Proficient in Agile ways of working
- Experience in SaaS Go to Market
- Ability to hit the ground running and be self-motivated
- Excellent project management skills - deadline and target-driven and experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to work effectively on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to quickly prioritise and assign tasks
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholder groups with excellent relationship-building skills paired with a high level of assertiveness and entrepreneurial spirit
- Outstanding ability to plan and manage budgets.
