This role sits within the Analytics & Effectiveness team, a hub of technical experts dedicated to enhancing marketing effectiveness through data-driven insights. As a Senior Marketing Effectiveness Analyst, you'll work hands-on with advanced analytical tools, building sophisticated models and delivering solutions that drive profit growth for clients.
You’ll be the technical expert clients turn to for econometric modelling, forecasting, and investment optimisation. In addition to working directly with clients, you’ll shape and implement data solutions that influence strategic decision-making, from building complex attribution models to running and analysing media experiments.
Role & Responsibilities:
Data Modelling & Analytics: Apply expert-level knowledge in econometrics, media tests, forecasting, and attribution to design and execute complex models that directly impact marketing ROI.
Act as a strategic advisor to the client, developing measurement frameworks and test-and-learn roadmaps that enable clients to make data-driven investment decisions.
Conducting marketing and media effectiveness analyses, creating investment optimisation strategies, and providing insight on emerging trends in analytics.
Lead data projects from start to finish, extracting, managing, and manipulating large datasets, and translating them into actionable insights.
Oversee and guide junior analysts, equipping them with technical skills and methodologies in marketing effectiveness.
Skills & Experience:
Econometrics and Forecasting: Extensive experience in building, implementing, and optimising econometric models and forecasts to improve marketing outcomes.
Data Manipulation: Scripting languages (R, Python, SQL) for managing and analysing large datasets effectively.
Data Visualisation: Presenting data insights in clear, compelling visual formats that engage non-technical audiences.
Commercial Acumen: Translate complex models and insights into practical recommendations that add value for clients.
Communication & Client Engagement: Present technical data to C-Suite and other high-level stakeholders, with a focus on clarity and impact.
Experience in Media Planning & Strategy: Familiarity with the media planning lifecycle and an understanding of how analytics drives decision-making.
Previous experience in marketing effectiveness or analytics roles within an agency, consultancy, or client-side environment
